〰️ FINE JEWELRY INFO

DIAMONDS

In our fine jewelry line, we typically use lab-grown diamonds. This means that they are carefully cultivated in a controlled laboratory environment rather than being extracted from the earth through traditional mining methods. lab-grown diamonds are identical to natural diamonds in every way, including their chemical composition, brilliance, and durability, with the main difference being their origin. We respect and honor our customers' preferences regarding the source of their diamonds. If you prefer a natural diamond, we are happy to accommodate that request and can provide natural diamonds for an additional cost. all mined diamonds we source are certified conflict-free through the Kimberly Process, ensuring ethical and responsible practices.

GEMSTONES

We carefully source our precious and semi-precious gemstones from a select group of trusted and reputable vendors. These beautiful gemstones are mined from various locations around the world, and we make every effort to ensure that they are supplied through ethical practices. we use natural gemstones unless lab-grown is requested. Some natural gemstones undergo heat treatment to enhance their color and brilliance, which is a common and accepted practice in the industry. Because gemstones are natural materials, some color variation is to be expected—please allow for slight differences in color compared to the product photos. While we absolutely adore colored stones for their unique beauty, it’s important to remember they require a bit more care. Unlike diamonds, colored gemstones are softer and more susceptible to chipping and scratching. For this reason, we strongly recommend removing your gemstone jewelry whenever you engage in any activities that involve rough or heavy use of your hands.

METALS

The majority of our fine rings are made with 14k gold and you can choose from yellow, white, or rose. We can make any ring in 18k or Platinum upon request and an additional fee.

RING SIZING

We recommend getting your finger sized at a local jeweler or, if you’re local to Chicago, coming into the showroom to be sized. As a second best option, we sell ring sizers which can be purchased here. Something to keep in mind when getting your size is fingers can change depending on temperature and can swell with salt or alcohol intake. Everyone is different but it’s something to be mindful of. Almost all the fine rings we make can be resized +/- up to one full size if necessary. We charge $50 for resizing. When placing an order online we offer full and half sizes but can accommodate quarter sizes upon request.

JEWELRY INSURANCE

WE recommend GETTING YOUR JEWELRY INSURED. FINE jewelry CAN BE ADDED TO AN EXISTING insurance POLICY OR YOU CAN GET JEWELRY specific INSURANCE. YOU WILL NEED AN APPRAISAL WHICH WE CAN PROVIDE. WE RECOMMEND Brite.CO OR JEWELERS MUTUAL.
